As an official member of the press, you are invited to the APCO Global Congress free of charge. Pre-registration is required.
Press credentials are reserved for members of the working press. An established news outlet must currently employ those requesting media registration. Those eligible to receive press registration include:
- Print and/or Online Publications, including bloggers;
- Radio and/or Television Broadcast Teams, and;
- Freelance Writers.
The pre-registered press list, including contact information, is typically shared with conference exhibitors, speakers, and sponsors. Please let us know if there is any contact information you would not like us to share with participants and your preferred contact method.
Submitting a request for a press registration does not automatically qualify you for a press badge. Registration will not be guaranteed for those who fail to submit the proper documentation.
All requests and appropriate documentation requirements must be received by 27 April, 2012. Anyone seeking press registration after 27 April, 2012 will be required to register on site.
Appropriate Documentation Requirements
Each individual seeking a press pass must provide two of the following three items:
- A business card with your editorial title from an established publication or media outlet;
- A current masthead that includes your name and editorial title, and/or;
- Two bylined industry-related articles published within the last six months.
Please note that freelance writers are required to provide a current letter from an editor or publisher stating that you are covering the APCO Global Congress on assignment in addition to the above requirements. Multiple persons from the same organization seeking a press pass must register separately.
